In the untouched Dividal National Park

After picking you up at the airport or bus station and after a first overnight accomodation in Innset, we begin with a thorough briefing into the art of dog sledding, a check of the equipment and the preparation of the tour.

On the third day the expedition starts at the edge of the national park. We ride the dog sleds partly along snow scooter tracks, and partly on fresh snow. In the national park, pure nature awaits you. In the first part of winter, tracks from foxes, elk, lynx, and glutton (wolverine), and sometimes even wolves, may be traced.
 
The mountains' diversity and unpredictable snow conditions make it necessary to require good physical shape from the participants on this tour. The route will be adapted to the given conditions. This is the real way to go dog sledding!

Cabins will be available along the path, but sometimes the weather may cause us to sleep in tents. The tour will somtimes cross the Swedish border.

Each participant, who wishes, may ride his or her own sled and will be responsible for a dog team. Through the close co-operation between human and animal, there is no doubt this tour will be a real experience.

Dog sledding proves to be quite easy to learn. The tour guide will assist you along the way. After some 250 kilometres of the outdoors the expedition returns to Innset.
